About Bekolt

Bekolt is a 3D animated short that is currently in production. This is the graduation project of Nanda van Dijk for her master degree at the Utrecht school for the arts. Nanda graduated for this project with the trailer for the animated short in September 2010.

Bekolt is about a little girl who lives in Urk, a small village in Holland. After reading in a fairytale book about witches she suspects her neighbor from across the street to be a witch. The title of the animation, Bekolt, is an old fashioned Dutch word for bewitched.
